The Anchorage vacation rental sits among cool palms and green shrubs steps away from the stunning Rainbow Bay Beach along Wandering Shore Drive, a great central location and just a 15 minute drive from Governor's Harbour International Airport. Equipped with everything you might need to make your holiday as adventurous or as relaxing as you want, it's the perfect base for exploring the island, and a great spot for doing nothing at all.
You're guaranteed a warm welcome by Your Hosts, Nicky and Stan. We can organise a meal, arrange pre-arrival groceries, arrange a day out or a nice relaxing massage in the comfort of the cottage, or we'll simply leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet - whichever you prefer.
If you've had enough peace and quiet, why not make your way up to the The Sunsert Cove & Rainbow Room (The Rainbow Inn) which is a few minutes drive away to enjoy a cocktail or two or have a meal.
If you want to venture a little further into James Cistern a 5-10 minute drive away, you will find Delish Lifestyle Beach Sports Bar and Restaurant, LeoRose Sunset Beach Bar & Grill, Mel's Snack Shack, D'Jay's Cafe, Da Conch Hut, Juice City and the infamous and oh so delicious Stubbs BBQ (Under the Tamarind Tree Grill). Delish Lifestyle and LeoRose both have live music on certain days. Heading North into the settlement of Hatchet Bay a 5-10 minute drive away, you will find The Front Porch, Twin Brothers, Rednip Sports Lounge & Grill, Boaters Haven Bar, Grill & Convenience Store.
OUR AMENITIES.....
The Anchorage vacation rental has two bedrooms and two bathrooms with walk-in showers, one bedroom has a queen bed, guest closet, drawers and en-suite while the second bedroom has two twin beds, guest closet and drawers. Both bedrooms have locked owner closets. There is a separate bathroom.
The lounge/dining/kitchen area is open plan with a high ceiling giving it a spacious feeling, the dining area serves as a dedicated workspace if required. All three areas have patio doors looking out onto our large garden and the stunning Rainbow Bay Beach and Nentwig Park, both just steps away!
We have an outside shower and drying line which is situated at the back of the house.
The patio area is a great space to sit and enjoy your morning coffee watching the sunrise or an evening cocktail watching the beautiful sunsets we have here.

THE BEACH
Situated directly opposite Rainbow Bay Beach and Nentwig Park. You will find viewing benches dotted around, perfect for watching those beautiful sunsets! Picnic tables and cabanas provide great shade on the beach.
CENTRALLY LOCATED
We are in a good central location for exploring either end of the island, nestled between James Cistern and Hatchet Bay.

We have Starlink so you will be able to watch TV and use multiple devices all at the same time with high speed unlimited data!

MEET YOUR HOSTS.....
Myself and my husband Stan are your Hosts, since our retirement, we spend most of our time here on the beautiful island of Eleuthera with our potcake Copper and our two cats. We have had a connection with this island for over 20 years. Our background is in construction, our passions are sailing and traveling with a little bit of creativity thrown into the mix!
During your stay we, your Hosts, live nearby and are available if you need us otherwise we respect your privacy and leave you in peace to enjoy your vacation. You can contact us on the number provided on the Welcome Note in the cottage. As we are nearby we do tend to share nature's bounty such as our papayas or coconuts if available or if we are baking, be it bread of some sort or a cake, then we may just leave a little something for you to enjoy!

WHERE YOU'LL BE.....
Rainbow Bay is a well maintained and respectable sub-division, desired by residents, second homeowners and visitors. Rainbow Bay Property Owners Association maintains the sub-division, its parks and beaches. It is a welcoming and friendly community with plenty to see and do in and around the vicinity. Rainbow Bay is situated between James Cistern and Hatchet Bay and is a 15 minute drive from Governor's Harbour Airport and a 45 minute drive from North Eleuthera Airport.
